Owner/Chef Shaun Alcorn will be defending his Best Chef title in Harrisburg this January. Shaun's passion for cooking started very early in life and by the age of 19, he had aspirations to open his own place. Shaun's cooking has been descibed as "majic" with lots of attention to combine fresh ingredients with premium seafood and steaks. Shaun's legendary crab cakes continue to please, while the prime rib at The Porter's House leave few unsatisfied and many wanting for more.

Shaun is featured in The Edge magazine for thier newest issue. He hopes to make The Porter's House into both a destination and a comfortable place for locals to call home. Shaun's dedication is best seen while he is working the line and with every plate being sent out for customers to enjoy.
